Don’t Tell
Don’t tell a soul where we are.
Please, hold yourself in check.
It’s perfect here and not like there.
We’re never going back.
Cloudless skies, the brightest blue
Birds sing, fly and sing some more
Finally, we’ve found our due
On this, our own beatific shore.
Warm year-a-round, this mountain haven
With hummingbirds that fill the air
Our great fortune, being chosen
To live like an exotic pair
Of love birds, young with outstretched wings
We glide ‘round every bend
And we’ll light on all exciting things
Until the very end.
