After church today, I stopped by the grocery store to get ingredients to make a pot of chicken soup. Anyway, as I often do, I found myself in the magazine/book section looking for a book to read. As I had just marked the anniversary of my mother’s death, 'Chicken Soup for the Soul, A Tribute to Moms', caught my eye. I picked it up and thumbed through, going back to read the Table of Contents. Low and behold I saw a name I recognized. The story was titled ‘With us in Spirit’ and it was written by Nancy Julien Kopp. Since I am a big fan of Nancy’s writing, and in need of reading material, I purchased a copy.

After peeling those potatoes, chopping onion, and scraping carrots, I called the chicken soup ready to simmer and sat down to read, Chicken Soup. A coincidence, I swear. What a marvelous story. Teary eyed, I handed the book to my hubby. He read it and gave it kudos, as well.

I explained to Bob that I was familiar with Nancy’s work through OurEcho, especially enjoying the Will Jamison series.

So, if you’re looking for a good book to read, how about considering OurNancy?
