Media Madness

It seems that the media has set its sights on catching people at their weakest or worst
moments. Rarely does the media want to portray anyone at their best. They are giving the public garbage and telling them it is the greatest thing on earth.
A good example is what has come to be called "Reality TV". Is it any wonder that the attitude of or young people is to think that it is fun to abuse seniors, shoot teachers and friends, laugh at hurting people, take your domestic troubles and spread them out for the world to see, and we wonder what has happened to the world.
The free speech amendment was put in our Constitution so we would have a right to protest our government and protect our freedom, but it was never put there with the intentions of twisting the minds of the public or being abused for profit while exposing our failings as human beings. Because we have an amendment for free speech does not mean we should not try and reign in those out of control in the media who seek to abuse it. We as a society need to say 'enough of the media madness' and hold them accountable for what they put on TV and in the papers.
The media has caught one of their target lady celebrities and titled it "Caught Again" on one of the web sites. If you follow anyone around long enough you will most likely catch him or her making a blunder or a mistake as they live life. That is not odd, it is normal because we are all made with a built-in faulty system. We call it being human.
I think the media needs to give a break to the human race and start looking for real news toreport on instead of following celebrities around waiting for them to make a mistake, or glorifying domestic tragedy as entertainment.
Perhaps we should write our Congressmen and ask them to create a law that would curtail some of the activities of the so-called press and media. If enough people get tired of eating garbage…well may be the cooks will look for a better recipe. What do you think?
