Now that I finally have time for myself I find myself trying to think of things to do. Being a mother of 4 children I never had time for myself. I stayed busy taking care of my children and that was a full time job but now I have time to do the things that I like to do. I have been enjoying working with my flowers and I have a fish aquarium again because I have always loved goldfish. I have also really started to love writing and that is something that I never thought I would enjoy but I have found it to be stress relief for me. I have even started on a small garden of course I still have to allow time for my husband who is a very special person in my life. I think back to when my children were young and realize that I neglected myself a lot for them but I guess that goes along with being a mother. I also look forward to spending time with my grandson soon. I have always had a lot of dreams about what I would like to do and now I am finally going to do some of those things. Just because the children grow up it does not mean that your life is over it is just beginning and you must use your time wisely and make the most of it. I guess it really is like your second childhood and you can be young again in a way. They say you are never too old for anything that you really want to do and I believe that is so true. My husband and I have been taking a lot more time to do things around our home that we never had time for in the past and it really feels good. I just felt the need to share how I feel with others out there.
