DREAMS I can make songs from the words people say, Sometimes I can even make the pain go away. This gift is all I can truly call mine, And I will cherish it for all time. My dream is a gift I will proudly share, To withhold ones gift is never fair. Dreams count for more than it may seem, Everyone should have a dream. I can’t change the world with what I write, I can only keep my dreams in sight. For those who to take the chance to live, To them, my humble words I give. I give to others a second chance to learn to love, to sing, to dance. Alone there’s nothing I can do, I need a friend, that might be you. Words may be all we leave behind, But you may be surprised at what we find I can help you to be strong. So come with me, bring your dreams along. |
