WHO AM I NOW Not so long ago, I was only me I have changed, I know The differences I can see Once, I was strong Afraid of only fear Now I know I was wrong I fear each falling tear In this crowd I stand Laughing with my friends Cigarette held in shaking hand The loneliness never ends So many times before I’ve turned and run away But there’s no where to run anymore Yet, in this life, I can not stay My tears are all that’s left I lost all the rest, I don’t know how Even my sanity someone else kept So I’m asking you, who am I now? |
