Remembering: 9/11/ 01

SUBJECT: 9/11

Dearest Friends,
Yes, this is awful.
Yes, this is shocking.
No one is safe in their own home,
or at their place of work!
BUT ... what else is new?

Did God allow this to
happen... Yes, we know He did;
not one sparrow falls without his knowing.
I just truly believe
this will be used for SO much good;
for our Father would not let all these
perish without knowing it COULD and WOULD
lead to so many coming to
Knowledge of His Saving Power.

People will be more open
for a while now friends;
things like this make people realize
how much they need The God
who offers "hope" and "peace."

The only thing close to this situation
has been Pearl Harbor. Although it was AWFUL,
it was used to raise this country up
to prayer-to one voice!

Let us pray forgiveness of the soul
of this country, that it may once again
rise up as the Lord's and the Lord's alone.
Please pray and agree that God grants
us Wisdom, Peace, Strength, and Fortitude
to face these days in Jesus' name.
And that hedges of protection
are around the rest of us ...
around the rest of our country!

I sit here, very near the
submarine base and our kids
are ready to come home from school.
The schools in the military county
right below us have closed much earlier.
But,friends, remember: Our God Reigns!
This we must keep foremost in our minds,
for ours and our kids'
sakes, and *in the big picture,*
for our country's sake
and the furtherance of the Kingdom of God!
Stand tall and ready to give an answer
for your confidence!
