The saying goes Everything happens for a reason Is this true? No one knows Exactly what the future holds We choose to believe Because our lives Are filled with confusion Uncertainty and disillusion We pause to contemplate And deliberate the concept of fate Countless hours into the night Hoping that we might Find an answer that fits One that makes sense Of all the little bits that Are supposed to come together Yet, I have never Questioned whether or not Fate exists. I believe in it. I can close my eyes and trust My life has a path to travel I choose not to try And unravel the why Or the what, when or who. However, I do Have one hope in mind That maybe, in time I will get to be with you. |
