Aunt Vina was married to my Dad's brother. This letter was written to another living brother, but most are so comical they are passed around to relatives. This 99 year old youngster still paints quite well also!
I have typed it(with errors) just as it was received.

Dear Earl and Armetha –
I know you neither are very well – and neither am I. I wound up with heart failure and have to be with oxygen of nights. Supposed to use it some in day time – but just use breathing exercises mostly in day time.
Some time ago Rose Mary sent my name & birthday into “Good Old Days” magazine. Even tho my birthday isn’t until April 22 – I have been getting cards and letters. Already have at least 140. Some are duzzies.
Have gotten literature & a medallion from a Catholic Church – and have heard from Jehovah’s Witness 2 times. I’ve got some beautiful cards - some write – others sign their names.
Got a letter from Joplin. Gal wanted to know if we were related to a Margaret Boucher (Powers). It was from Margaret’s sister in law Wilma ((Powers) Perry. I did write back & told her my husband Charley and Margaret were first cousins. Margaret is in a care home and isn’t very well. A gal in Florida wrote. She also had name Vina and another wrote she had same birthday.
Been fun – but all these 99 years have caught up & I’m ready to leave this old world. I talk to God a lot & he said quit calling me – I’ll call you when your number comes up. But the last I think he said “I’ll think about it.” – ha!
Oh there’s some things I don’t have – cancer – diabetes – ingrown toe nails & I’m not pregnant – ha!
I hear from Lois pretty often. She has had her hands full with Duane – but you know Lois – she is a survivor.
The nurse has brought my night medicine & I’ll soon connect with oxygen again. “O happy day.”
Take care now – I care & let me hear how you are doing.
I send love & Prayers,
Vina
