Not today.
Give me one more day of your love,
Just one more hour.

Do I ask to much?
Am I like a sponge
Soaking up your love,
Always asking for more?

Perhaps I am selfish
I want you now
Even though
You are ready to leave.

Goodbyes are hard
But are they ever easy?
Not for me
I will miss you.

If you really must go
Perhaps you will turn and smile
And come running back
To my eager arms.

A goodbye will have to come sometime,
But please,
Do not leave me ...
