World turning on the axes of good and evil, spinning to places I run from and run to in the salvation and apocalypse of one divided day. It has now occurred to me-- we are all working on the same poem that was started long ago in the garden of Eden. Still turning the apple, looking for wormless words to describe the wound. This much I will tell you. In the womb, you knew the poem in its undefiled form. It sang of love, and is singing still. |
