Three is a Company

mom and dad love you
little boy in the picture,
it’s been ten years now
a reminder of a once 4 year old
now you’re an adolescent
healthy, spry and aggressive
sometimes ornery
not listening or caring so much
about things
but you know something,
they still love that little boy
still love
that little boy
