When I Grow Up...
When I grow up
Then what will I be
I never expected
To be mother of three
Time went by quick
But where did it go?
When I was younger
It seemed to go slow
The days would drag on
Sometimes with no purpose
But now it seems more like
A giant three-ring circus
Working and cleaning
Taking care of my boys
I need more time
To play with my toys!
Of course, they've evolved
No more dolls anymore
Now it's my computer
Filled with software galore!
Printing pictures and writing
It fills up my day
While at home around me
My youngest sons play
My digital camera
Is calling me out
It takes such great pictures
Of this there’s no doubt
My hobby's evolving
And my talent's expanding
Makes my head spin so much
It's a wonder I'm standing
There's so much to do
And so little time
That going to sleep
Seems such a crime
So, when I grow up
I think what I'd like
Is to market my hobbies
And let work take a hike!
