My car breaks down in the middle of the night. There are no other cars, or house in sight. It's so dark, I can hardly see. I feel like something is watching me. I start to walk and hope help comes soon. Something suddenly howls at the moon. My blood freezes and my pulse quickens. A chill in the air as the fog thickens. A noise behind me makes me turn around. I stop and listen for another sound. Movement in the mist catches my eye. What I see next, makes me want to cry. A vicious beast covered in fur. My faith fails and makes me unsure. Massive jaws that drips gore. Eardrums pop as it starts to roar. Bloodshot eyes that exudes hate. I start to run and do not wait. Padded feet upon the street. Breath on my neck, I feel the heat. It sinks it's teeth into my shoulder. Blood drains and makes me colder. I fall to the ground in searing pain. I cry out, but my plea is in vain. In the blink of an eye, it rips out my throat. My soul leaves my body and starts to float. Looking down, I watch it feast. The gypsy was right, beware of the beast. |
