First there was a wild little black and white kitty, being taught by his calico mother to run like the wind to keep safe. Nearby neighbors started feeding him and his mom, and after quite a few months, he was starting to be tamed. They named him Fraidy Cat.

Over time his name became just Fraidy. He ran through the Jonestown cedar trees like a squirrel with his friend Little Brown. Then his new mother decided to move the household to the Texas Coast. It was quite a new thing, with no cedar trees to exercise on, and the hot humid climate inspired him to settle back and take things extremely easy.

Thus he became Football Fraidy, what with a decided resemblance to a rotund football. On a visit at the beginning of summer to his mom's favorite vet (Fraidy has no favorite vets himself), the dr. had a bit of a time getting Football Fraidy out of his carrier, since he was disinclined to present a head view which would facilitate removing his chubby body from said confinement. Well, the vet promptly ordered prescription food to assist in hopefully returning to a sleeker configuration.

AND NOW, 4 months later, friends and neighbors have given him a new name--FLAT SIDE FRAIDY!!! He's back to pre-coast size, and wowing the girl cats right and left.
