Poem Perfection Pursuit

Some people will study for years
to craft the most perfect of poem.
I'm wondering what they could fear,
put pen to paper and then write from home.

Words from the heart will endear
like waves crash the shore turn to foam.
His stanzas written will flow like tears
unleashed and free-falling to earth's soft loam.

Some will think all of this quite queer,
as Michael Angelo painted a dome
and followed the artistic flow he did hear.
So through life's experience the poet should comb,
For when he does this, his perfect poem will be near.
