What do I see in your eyes, my little one? What do I see in your eyes? I see your daddy and your mom, in those big brown eyes. Their love has overflowed into you. I see a genius, in the making. The world is yours so make what you will of your life. Fill it with lots of love and laughter.

I see wonder in your eyes as you look around and learn. You are in awe at the blessings that surround you and you are astonished and filled with joy. I see hope in those eyes of yours, my little one, hope for the world to become a better place because of your generosity, your goodness and the kindness that you have for others.

But mostly what I see in your eyes, my little one, is love. You bask in it. It follows you everywhere. It overflows onto those around you. You do not hold this thing called "love" tightly. You do not question why it is yours, nor where it comes from or where it will go if you give it away. It is there for you and you give yours away freely, without strings, and I shall accept it without question.
