The child, Large brown eyes Shining hair Scars, pain, IV's Once full of life But now tired of fighting Takes one last breath And goes peacefully into his future. The mother, sad brown eyes Broken heart Intense pain, Once full of life But now Tired of fighting, Takes a deep breath Wishing it could be her last. The brother, bewildered brown eyes, Uncombed hair, frightened Confused, lost, Once full of life But now tired of fighting Takes a silent breath Wanting to awaken from this nightmare. The Holy Father Compassionate, Loving, pure, And always all knowing, Spreads out his arms Comforts And embraces them all. |
