Always they are with me Whispering to faint to really hear No matter what I’m doing I know there is something there As soon as I have a chance Enough time without distraction I really mean to listen There must be something I am missing If I can only catch them When I can hear them clearly And put them down on paper Then perhaps I will understand What they are trying to tell me Always they are waiting For me to grasp them gently And coax them into the open So they may give the message That hides within the whispers And grows only with the words |
