It seems that nothings changed
it hasn’t helped to be apart
The emptiness still remains
there is no place for me in your heart

The laughter and passion are true
and the friendship is still there
But what of the love we once knew?
What of the tenderness we used to share?

It used to be so easy to show
all that I felt for you,
now it’s hard just to know
if you even want me to

There are words I want to say,
there are words I need to hear
But I cannot find a way,
to tell you of the words I fear
