For DONYA ~ IN LOVING MEMORY ~ 1969-2006

...dying still

Belated needs lie in wait
Are they forever diminished
into dreams-
That rise too late

Excuses are nonexistent
or?
Irrationally ethereal-
Meaning naught if you say them
Lying buried- the same as killed

No!
Otherwise, why should I ache
They are inside me,
dying still.
