Poem from a Young Geezer Come gather round in the dust of time, as tales unfold with campfire songs at night where stars mottle the blackness, their diamond pricks teasing bands of memory ah, family times- swimming in Ontario’s cold Nottawassaga Bay, gondolas climbing the side of heart stopping Sulphur Mountain, Alberta, green growth among PEI potatoes Cabot Trail curves in NS, rocky soil at Northern Quebec and swishing wheat, golden across flat Saskatchewan the glory of BC Rockies, scenic pastures in Manitoba, Newfoundland NB, my wife’s home all like gravy over the goodness of memories. © Richard L.
