May I borrow a Bottle? I’m looking for a bottle. I need a special kind of bottle. I need one that I can gather up this feeling. This feeling is so special and new. It must be kept fresh. I need to put it somewhere safe. I want to be able to open it up on another day Then remember what this felt like. May I borrow a bottle? ________________________________________________ I just realized that this is the first real poem I have ever written. It is dedicated to my daughter, Kaci. |
