Remedies of Deceit

Is love the answer as most would commonly say?
For it will come up and taunt you in the most peculiar way

Innocent and pure, divine intimacy
As the love is so new, you’re blinded to the oblivious misery

Can love really cure all, even this broken heart?
For I feel our love has shattered with no answer but to depart

I guess departure is an answer to this much suffering and relentless pain
But the answer I was searching for entailed bliss, harmony
And your ability to restrain

Restrain yourself from the temptations which have now taken us down to this
Restrain yourself from the lies, the weaknesses and most of all the undermined deceitfulness

If love truly is the answer, as most would commonly say
Then why is it I despise you so much
And feel nothing but contempt, misery and complete utter betray?
