Valentine

VALENTINE
A time to remember
Loving hands
Endurance
New things from old wood
T-shirts & hot rods
Invitation to ride
No one quite like you
Easy going friendships

My brother Owen was born on Valentine's Day. I wrote this acrostic poem especially for him. Owen, a former cabinet maker, a definate master with wood. One year he made each of his five sisters & his mother keepsake trunks for Christmas. Just a few years ago when visiting his workplace he showed me the beautiful coffins he handcrafted.
