The Dreamer She floated On a ribbon, Of velvety dreams, So far, so close She reached out, Out into an Empty space, A vacant void, So far away Her dreams; Carried her Farther, Even farther Than ever before This time, She floated; On a ribbon Of dreams, A puff of air, A breeze, A soft cottony, Ribbon of velvety dreams Floating; Dreaming, Drifting, Seeing the light, Defying the persistent wispy Ribbon of dreams, She prayed. @ K.L.
