Merry Christmas Happy New Year.!!! I could never in my life leave Christ out of Christmas. My fondest memories as a child was putting together the nativity scene in our commiunity church and listening to stories about the birth of Christ. The music was soft and inspirational and filled our heart with love. It was a time of year where we reached out to help others less fortunate than ourselves. A time when our school focused on gifts for the elderly, the lonely, the Impovished. It was a wonderful feeling to sit on the floor wrapping a gift for an orphaned child, or a soldier in the military far from home. Christmas meant celebrating the Birth of Christ and the sharing of good tiding to all. It did not matter what color, or culture you were. Everyone on this day were family. Christmas cards came flooding in and reading each one brought back wonderful memories. It is the Birthday of Jesus Christ, and we are celebrating that with the world !! Allow me to think of you all on this day as my brothers and sisters. Merry Christmas to you all, and a Blessed New Year.... |
