Chickadee

Chickadee

Chickadee

You fly in, and you fly out,
I know it's you,
I have no doubt.
Your little body of black and white,
Is such a beautiful delight.

I see you in the morning sun,
And before the stars come out at night.
Your there amongst the rest,
Your wings spread out in flight.
You come and go,
Never asking why.

Just making your way,
Back and forth in the sky.
You fly as far as Canada to the North,
And even further to the South.
Visiting the feeders as you go.

You go so many places,
You see so many things.
Poems have been written,
About my Little Chickadee.
So I thought, why not me?
For, I so love the Chickadee.
