You have a great way with words---adding extra color to your story. Makes me want to see your coast/bay in person.

I enjoyed reading your true-to-life, heart-warming story. You tell it like it is. A lady who knows her Island and its people well. Keep up your interesting writings.

And your rant was pure poetry in motion Bonnie dear. The way I hear it, nobody, but nobody will trounce on Newfoundland's family cod fishing as long as you're in charge. Keep up the good work. From an old Puget Sounder to a Newfoundler........Kathe

Bonnie, your rant will not be lost on some Ontarians who once depended on the Great Lakes for their livelihood. Alas, there are very, very few who still manage to eke a living on the Lakes because the stock is not there anymore.

Job very well done Bonnie. You didn't say if the person had a comment after you were done or was his face as red as a shoal water cod. Jeff

I am from the states, but believe me when I say, "Been There Done That", You go girl. We have to stand for what we believe, for if we do not, "WHO" will? K.L.

Thank you for your kind remarks.
As long as I breathe I will stand up for what I believe to be right. The Naysayers be darned-I know at this point in my life how to sum up a situation, assess the impact it is having on person, place or thing, and darn well have my say!
Glad there is someone else out there like me!!*lol*
So it's 'YOU GO GIRL' to you as well!!
Once again, Thanks,
Bonnie.
