Oh great you have a Civil War Hero too. Good account of little known history facts. The underground railroad came clear out here to eastern Kansas and has always been of special interest to me. Thanks for sharing. Gail

I recall seeing a movie years ago about The Underground Railway. How interesting to know that one of your ancestors took a vital part in this interesting piece of family biography. Very nicely done, Fred. Thanks for bringing this important piece of American slave history to life once again. I wish everyone could see the movie. It was very good. Kath
