Woo Hoo - what a trip and a fun, fun read! Thanks, of course, to the planning of your wonderful daughters.

When I saw the title to this, I knew it would be a hoot, and sure enuff - it was. I can understand your husband not being upset as many years ago, Frankie Avalon went a little nuts over my wife, and it didn't phase me a bit. I was confident, and I'm sure your husband was too.

Oh, Kathe, your story gave me shivers...the GOOD kind! I've been an adoring fan of Julio Iglesias from the get-go, too. How delightful that you were able to see him up close. And what a bonus that he smelled so good! Even if you hadn't won in the casino, you won at the Julio concert/show!
Love,
Sandi Pound.

What a life you've led, Kath. Ever consider a Memoirs book? Bet yours would be way more interesting than a lot of them in the bookstores.

Beautiful Kathe! And what a gorgeous family you must have. So glad you had an opportunity to share your 3 minutes of fame with Julio. What a memory! I'm glad you wrote about this little adventure. It's an important part of family lore. Jo Doofe

I was just reading the comments others had made. I have to say "Ditto," to the comment Nancy Kopp made. It would be more interesting, for sure.

What an experience! I love how you portrayed it. Myself, I would be more "gaga" over Julio's son, Enrique, though. :)

Wow, Kathe! After one uneventful evening in a Laughlin casino last week, this story made me wish I had dug a little deeper into the "now appearing" section. Julio has always been a favorite of mine, too; but I've never had the pleasure of personal contact, as you have. Good story, good writing, but then I never expect anything else from a piece that has your name attached. Barbara

What a wonderful story! I know exactly how you feel, I recently aw Cliff Richard and burst into tears when he came on stage!!!
