Bonnie,

Such wonderful sentiment here. Is there a mother alive who hasn't experienced some of the same? I remember my son's first day at university. I looked at my husband that morning and said, "How did this happen? Didn't we just take him to kindergarten?" His wings have taken him and his younger sister far from us, but their roots have kept them close in heart. Very nice writing, Miss Bonnie.

Yes, we've all beem through it. I once read a statement that the child belongs to the world and it is the parents' privilege to bring him into it! That definitely gave me pause!
