As I have said before, you should wear a poster that says "National Treasure." There are three generations out there who have no clue what life was like while you grew up. My mother, eighty-six now, has eleven great-grandchildren, from the ages of one year to twenty-two years. She lives two thousand miles from the older seven, who have had no opportunity to hear the stories I grew up with...and have put many in my novels. What you write, Wanda, is not only entertaining, it's our own American history! Well done, as always...Barbara

I cherish hearing/reading your memories because my Dad was born in 1918, and I never asked him to tell me much about his childhood...what a mistake that was on my part.
