What a haunting poem. I'll remember it for a long, long time.

I like it very much. Motivated me to write about what came to mind when I thought about my first kiss.

Veronica,
This is astonishingly beautiful and memorable. At first I thought it was referring to your first teen-age kiss by a male admirer on a date. How wonderfully you've described and infused the element of surprise into your story.
There is nothing much sweeter than kissing a little baby.
Sincerely,
Sandi in FL.
