Oh what damned fools we are, along with a billion others. How could a person turn down such a face? Bless you Kathy for giving Hank the home he deserves. Your poetry says it all. I love your work, but almost love this one best. Kath

This was so sweet and heartwarming. The pictures alone would be an "awwww, how cute" moment, but your poem was the icing on the cake. Narrative poetry is not easy and must be admired when done well.
