What wonderful memories you have, Wanda. I am very much looking forward to the next installment. You're very good at making us wait for the next chapter. You've heard the drums of war beat a number of times, and I'm sure it does not get any easier as time goes on.

My father was a WWI Sgt. He rode a big white horse and was the iunpopular guy who tooted his bugle to "Ya gotta get up, Ya gotta get up," but also beautifully trumpted taps every evening. As a kid growing up, mother and I nearly jumped out of our skins as dad tooted that bugle down in the basement. Once a bugler, always a bugler........Kath
