A magnificent tribute to your teacher! It's so easy to let our teachers fade into the memories of our past, in spite of the impact they had on our lives. Thanks for sharing! Carol

I have learned long ago the good feeling that comes when you do something for someone else. It proves the teachings of Jesus when he said, "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

What a lovely tribute to a special teacher. Brings back memories of a few special teachers I've had, too. I have a feeling Miss Ketch would have most pleased at your visit, the flowers, and the heartfelt words you wrote about her. Well done, Kathy.

I'm sure Miss Ketch was pleased with your all knowing father too. Your story reminds me I have a couple of teachers I should write about and hunt up next Memorial Day. Thanks for sharing, Gail

Hey, Ms. Baker, sounds like you and Sissy had similar teachers! I enjoyed this story so much...first one I've read since getting out of the hospital, My Dear! One thing is certain: your stories either make me smile...or cry! B. Carpenter

Enjoyed your story & the reminder to thanks those that cross our paths.

A pastor's wife once told me when the Good LORD brings someone to our thoughts to pray for them because at that moment they may be going through a difficult time in their life.

I went to school w/ a Baker at West Branch, north of El Dorado.
