Bonnie,

A wonderful story with a terrific title. Also beautifully written. It's obvious that it came from a mother's heart. I salute you writer to writer and mother to mother.

Rereading your story when suddenly the song "Big Rock Candy Mountains" came to mind. We had it on an old record when I was a kid. As ever, Gail

I pray for Heather just as I've prayed for my KT under a beastly breast cancer assault. Who could ever imagine our raising two beautiful daughters so brave, almost more interested in the successful treatment of their fellow patients. KT has also been in remission after surgery and therapy and just as nice, she has a wonderful new job at the Central Wa. Medical Center. God Bless them both, for they have so much to give.

Bonnie, I can see you so plainly in both Heather's and Amber's faces. What beautiful women you all are. This was a brilliantly told story. Kathe

Hi Kathe!
Been out fishing so late getting my mail done. Fishing was successful I must say and the day on the water was a true gift from God for me as I love it so.
Thank you for your wonderful comment on my Heather and family. She is beautiful, inside and out as I am sure KT is. It was a devastating time but we have survived it, and as we go from day to day our prayers are always in our hearts for their continued health. It is good to know someone who can truly identify with it all.
Love,
Bonnie.
