Oh, what a tear-jerker! Your love for him shines through every line .... a beautiful tribute just in time for Father's Day.

Oh Barbara - this was such a touching description of a father you loved so much despite his aloof and quiet ways...K

What wonderful Dads we have had. You obviously feel the same about yours as I do about mine. It went straight to my heart. Great job! Her Dad is a girl's first love, and sometimes also her last. My husband is a Dad too, so I am doubly blessed at the moment. He gave me two beautiful children who are all grown up and now our daughter has a darling little girl.
As my brother said to Dad. "See what your loins have wrought?"
Dad cracked up laughing--yep, that's my Dad.
Keep up the good work.
Bonnie Jarvis-Lowe.
