Wow, now that's a love letter! I regret that the "advances" of our modern age, with email and phones, have diminished the occurrence of handwritten letters. The letter and photo are priceless. Thanks for sharing. Carol

Wow! Now we know where you got your romantic, flowing way with the pen...all right then...computer! Young men of today could learn a lot by following the example of their elders. Thanks for sharing such a beautiful letter. B. Carpenter

I'm all *S*M*I*L*E*S* after reading this love letter! How delightful that it was saved all these years, and how special that you have the added photograph which brings your grandparents to life for the reader.
Thanks for sharing,
Sandi in FL.

Sandi, I'm so glad you enjoyed reading the love letter. I admit, when I read it the first time I was very impressed - no wonder the woman married him!

It was lovely to read this love letter. Unlike to day, when it is unusual to get a hand written letter, it always holds the personal touch. Thank you Kathleene for sharing. I enjoy your writing so much. God bless Kathleen Blanchfield
