Lovely picture of a half century of love amongst the spitfire duo...whose love over-rode all else. And yes, Kathe, Ken is watching over you as you tend the fires on your own now, you and your beloved pets.

Dearest Kath:
This story 'Blomming...!' made me shed tears, and my breath caught in my chest. Your words, giving us a shot of loving, a loss, but a life well lived, with someone you loved so much. You still love him, he was your everything. You made a great team and you have put the feelings of being a widow into a story that is still a celebration of life. Awesome work, and I know, by corresponding with you, that you miss him so much, yet you share his memory, your loss, with us through beautifully written words. I can hazard a guess that tears fell on the keyboard on that story.
Beautiful, well done, and you are a joy in my life. I think Ken is waiting for you and when the time comes to join him, you will have all of eternity to continue showing him how so very much you care for him and love him.
Blessings,
Bonnie J-Lowe.

ME AGAIN!!
I forgot something I wanted to say, and that is 'TO LIVE IN THE HEARTS OF OTHERS IS NOT TO DIE!'
Bonnie.

Kathe, what a splendidly written memoir of your life with Ken! To add to bonnie's quote, as long as we talk about our loved ones, and write their stories someplace like OurEcho, they never die. How magnificent for all these stories to be preserved for the generations to come. Carol

Kathe dear, I just this afternoon listened to you reading your love story! How delightful to hear what your voice sounds like...so clear, precious and filled with feeling. Your wonderful story of life with Ken reminds me of something I read several years ago on a greeting card: "Sometimes, in the middle of two ordinary lives, loves hands us a fairy tale." That fits you and Ken to a "T".
Love and blessings,
Sandi in FL.
