I love the fact that you were able to lighen a not-so-happy time in the hospital. Thanks for making me smile today.

Dear Wanda, whenever I see your name on a new post, I read it immediately because I know I'll like it! Delightful poem, I want to take a copy with me the next time I'm in the hospital.

Wanda, I swear that we must be related! Just this past January I had a total knee replacement, and it was three days before I was able to endure the walk from my bed to the bathroom. I, of course, had the bed near the window, far from the "facilities." After staggering from the bathroom, I stopped at the lavatory to wash my hands. That's when I made the mistake of looking into the mirror. "Oh, My Gosh!" I yelled. My roommate and the nurse beside her both burst into laughter. "She looked into the mirror!"exclaimed the nurse, and she was right. I tried not to make that mistake again...Thanks for making me chuckle one more time! B. Carpenter

At our age Wanda, we've been there and done that. But not so cleverly.
