Thank goodness my husband and I are book addicts. At our age we have lots of time to spend on our addiction. Gail

Addicted to books is an interesting concept, and I'm sure I qualify as an addict. Coming from a reading family from parents to siblings to nieces and nephews, it was a given. I fear many youngsters these days are missing out on so much with today's mindless, lacking in creativity "technological assault." Your essay should make people think!

I loved this essay and I definately could qualify as a member of the Book Addics Club. I love books and reading of all kinds. I too, am a "binge" reader. At times I find myself so engrossed in a book that I simply can't do another thing until I finish it---then sometimes can't wait to start another book! Thank you for such a great essay. I feel sorry for those who don't enjoy reading!
