Yes Suzana, cows are beautiful and have great affection for us as well. We named all the milk cows we had through the years. Our large family grew up strong and happy because of the wholesome milk to drink; lovely cream for hot cereal, cobblers and home made icecream; the golden butter and tasty buttermilk all were the benifits from our cows with names. Thanks for your information, Gail

I'm sure you took good care of your cows and in by gone days small farms proliferated the landscape. Mom and Dad would take us to visit relatives in Youngstown in the 40's and one of the best parts of the ride was seeing cows and calves in pasture as well as horses. That's a rare viewing today. We need to turn the hands of the clock back and close the cruel CAFOs and bring back the small family farms.
