This was such a pleasant read! How well I know the joys of seeing the world from the saddle of a bike.

Hi John, Nice of you to comment. It was AMAZING. Hooked has to be the description. We live in a beautiful world--meant to be savoured. Thanks for stopping by. Janet

Hi Janet,
So good to see your post ! Absolutely love bike rides too. My only regret....that I could'nt get to learn to ride, having always rode pillion. But the wind in your face as you FEEL the world arouund you...all cares forgotten.... just enjoying the moment with someone to trust 'at the helm' is utterly irreplaceable !! : )

Hi Sabina,
Not familiar with the term pillion. Can surmise what it means from your content. I used to ride a bicycle, so I'm thinking I have the balance part down. Now all I have to do is figure out where the key is. You're right about the joy of the moment. It was an amazing and all too short-lived experience. Thanks for commenting. Janet

Hi Janet,
"to ride pillion" means " to travel seated behind a motor- cyclist."

Hi Sabina, Thanks for the clarification. You're sweet to respond. I figured that's what it was, but it's good to know these things. Janet

Janet, I could feel the breeze, smell the fresh air, see the green countryside. Thanks for taking us along on the Harley today....beautifully written.
Be radically blessed today!

Hi Susan, If we're alive, we're all "radically blessed" every day. I appreciate your comment. The only other time I rode was when I was 16 with a friend through the streets of Binghamton, NY at 30 MPH. The open road is more beautiful; the feelings more free when surrounded by nature's beauty instead of buildings. Hope you keep coming back. Janet
