I agree, big isn't always better. I grew up on one of those small family farms. Farming used to be a way of life, not a corporation. I wait impatiently for tomatoes to appear at the roadside stands and the local farmer's market. I feel bad for those who have never tasted a 'real' tomato. BJ

For all its shortfalls, I still am very, very thankful that we have the opportunity to live in America. And a homegrown tomato is still the best thing going ~ Umm, umm good!

I'm glad you find pesticide free tomatoes. Sadly, most of us don't.
