I believe Jim Fitzpatrick was correct when he said you would grow up grand. BJ

And you did grow up 'grand' and I feel so fortunate to call you friend. A lovely piece you've posted for Father's Day. We may only have one biological father, but lots of others who act as Dad at one time or another. It makes me look back and think of the many "father figures" I had in my own life. They helped make us the people we are today, and I'm thankful for each one--especially my Uncle Tom who always, always had a stick of gum in his pocket with my name on it. Or so he claimed!

Dear Veronica, what a fine tribute to those good men who cared. In this modern day, let us hope and pray that many more children will grow up-- Grand. Tom

Dear Veronica,
A lesson for everyone here, to stop and forget the corporate and commercial pressures of this world; and remember ourselves and the people who have 'touched' us on our journey to who we have become.
