I was rather overwhelmed and teary-eyed reading this poem. There are so many children out there lost and lonely, robbed of love, family and responsible parents. We take all we have and have had so for granted.

"There but for the grace of God go I. "
Thanks for sharing.

Yes, there are so many children out there. I had the pleasure of 22 years in various fields in Social Services, and my wife and I were also foster parents and an adopting parent. In fact one of our books coming out soon with SynergEbooks is called "Someone's Son" and deals with social issues. RLP
