You've said so much in so few lines, Richard. Those of us who have lived life can easily fill in the blanks, can't we, as innocence of early days turned into adulthood? Thanks for a good read ~ Susan

Hi Richard,
I like poems that tell a lot in a few words, and yours fits that description. Ah yes, as adults we can identify with such emotions as children make the leap into adulthood.
You're a very good writer, and I hope your "Footprints" book sells at least a million copies.
Blessings,
Sandi in FL.

Dear Sandi, Thank you so much for your encouragement. My wife and I are grateful. She has shouldered quite a burden during the eight years of my stroke recovery, and still continuing. I spent so much time waiting for print publishers to decide on my exclusive book submissions, in one case one and a half years before they said NO. That was after they said they were quite interested. I had the same thing happen with four other print publishers, so we decided to go the e-publishing route. God bless you and thank you for hoping we sell a million copies. Yes. Yes. (R&E)
