I love your poem, Janet. It comforts while understanding. I'll keep it to reread often. Yes, time eases the pain ever so slowly, tho the losses always hurt. Carol

Hi Carol, Glad you found it comforting. Feel free to print it off if you wish so long as the copyright information is intact. He truly is the God of all comfort. His blessings on you and yours, Janet

Janet, Thank you for your poem. Time does ease the pain, but time takes time. When we surrender to God, he does help to make our journey a less painful one. Once you have an experience of deep loss, you will always be on the spiritual journey ever after. Blessings. Mary Caliendo

Hi Mary, You're right about a kind of perpetual healing process. I've learned that when we truly grieve, allowing ourselves to feel our sorrow instead of stuffing it away, we learn so much about ourselves and our God who ministers His grace in our lives. I read a book once, GRIEF IS A GIFT. When I first saw the title, it made me angry, but now I understand what it means. Though it is not a gift one would seek, it truly is a gift. God bless you and yours, Janet
